Last words...

“I don’t know if I’d be the person to help him win.”

-       Sarah Palin, former US Vice-Presidential candidate, responding to whether she would accept a request from Donald Trump to run as his Vice-Presidential running mate.

Correct weight, honey.  Your track record isn't good.

Bonus...

"The Liberal Democrats have announced a preference deal with the Greens.  We will put them last in every state, and they can go get stuffed."

-       David Leyonhjelm, Senator, NSW, and Leader of the Liberal Democrats.

At the extreme left-hand of the bell curve

Yee-hah!

The US Transportation Security Administration announced on April 27th that its screeners had confiscated 73 guns from passengers’ carry-on luggage.  In just the previous seven days!

Bonus: 68 were loaded, and 27 had a round in the chamber.

If that is what they found, W&D wonders what they missed.

Do not disturb

The Tap Inn bar in Billings, Montana, released April 11th surveillance video of the armed robbery staged by two men and a woman (still on the run).  In the background, two liplocked customers at the bar, were lost in affectionate embrace during the entire crime, seemingly oblivious of danger.

The robbers, perhaps impressed by the couple’s passion, ignored them.  And emptied the cash register just a few feet away, and undisturbed.
