Sean has over 30 years experience, the last 20 years in senior executive roles. He spent 13 years with National Australia Bank in a series of executive management roles. Prior to this he worked for 20 years with ANZ Banking Group, also in senior management roles. He has extensive experience across multiple banking disciplines including financial markets, treasury, retail banking, risk, legal & compliance, finance, technology and strategy. He has led large teams across multiple jurisdictions and has worked or resided in the UK, Americas, Asia and India.
In various capacities, he served as executive director on bank-owned investment and securities’ companies. This experience included responsibility for legal and compliance with regulators in domestic and offshore locations.
He holds a Bachelor of Business, with distinction, from RMIT University, is a member of the Australian Institute of Company Directors and a Senior Associate of the Financial Services Institute of Australia.
Sean is married with a son and is involved in a range of school activities and sports together with community volunteering including World Vision, Canteen and Habitat.
