Jim has over 18 years’ experience in the accounting and financial services industry in Australia and the UK.
He holds a master’s degree in Finance and a bachelor’s degree in Accounting and Financial Management; is a Fellow of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants and the Tax Institute of Australia.
Before joining First Samuel in March 2017, Jim was Group Accountant of Lindon Group, a Melbourne based financial services company. Prior to this, he worked for Kerr Henderson Group, a UK financial services company and a public accountancy practice (now known as PKF-FPM) in Northern Ireland, where he completed his accountancy training with ACCA.
Jim is responsible for overseeing all financial aspects of the Company. His role ensures the integrity of all Company financial data and that the Company meets its legal, statutory and regulatory obligations.
Jim is married with two young daughters, he enjoys spending time with his family, exercising, playing sports (with rackets), travelling and sampling different cuisines.
